Stiff Competition for the World Cup Golden Ball Winner

Whilst it is the case that all national teams that have successfully made it through to the Group Stages of the world Cup 2018 will want to take the trophy and title back home with them, there is one title and trophy that each individual player will also want to take home with them.

That is of course the Golden Ball Winner, Player of the Tournament trophy, and this year there is going to be some stiff competition for every single player, for there are without a shadow of a doubt some amazing players playing.

That said though you may have already formed an opinion as to who may just win that title and trophy, but it is always a case of wait and see, for you never know what is going to happen on the pitch in every single individual game that is player!

Neymar Most Likely to Win the Golden Ball

One player that I am sure is at the top of of a very high percentage of soccer fans lists of the most likely winner of the Golden Ball bar injury is of course Neymar, and if he continues to play his usual game then he has to be in with a great chance of being awarded with it.

However, it would of course be foolish to overlook players such as Lionel Messi, for you only have to watch him play during the soccer season to know that he is in a different class to most other players and is another player who could bag and take home the Golden Ball trophy quite easily!

Could Antoine Griezmann or Cristiano Ronaldo Win?

I suppose if I was compiling a list and in order of the players that are most likely to win the golden Ball trophy then the next two players on my list, which would probably be a very long list thinking about it, would be Antoine Griezmann and Cristiano Ronaldo, for when it comes to team players who you can rely on they are up there with the best of them.

The are some lesser known players you should also consider and they include the likes of Eden Hazard and Gabriel Jesus, both of whom do have their own individual skills and talents that do impress legions of fans each week during the season when they are playing.

A few other players that you should never discount include the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Harry Kane, Isco and Paul Pogba plus there is always the chance a player such as David Silva could come out on top too!

However, at the end of the day we should wait and see just what the Group Stages do have in store for us, for I am more than confident they will live up to their usual hype and there will be all manner of amazing skills played out on the pitch in some matches that are going to be in your memories for years to come,
