The Nerazzurri kicked off life under Conte with maximum points in Serie A, meaning that they have now recorded five straight wins in the Italian top-flight since last season. Last time out, Inter recorded a superb 2-0 away win at city rivals AC Milan.
The home sides attacking firepower has certainly been a key factor in their recent stellar record in Serie A, as Inter have scored at least twice in four of their last five Serie A matches.
Club-record signing Romelu Lukaku has rediscovered his scoring boots in Milan, having scored three times in his four league appearances for Conte’s side. The faith of boss Conte has seemingly helped the former Everton star rediscover his top form.
Inter are also now seven home games unbeaten on home soil in Serie A, having recorded four straight victories. The series of stellar defensive displays have helped Inter to keep clean sheets in three of their last four home games in the Italian top-flight.
Lazio (Odds of 13/5 for victory)
In comparison to the home side, Lazio have made a mixed start to their Serie A campaign. However, picking up seven points from a possible 12 is not a terrible return at the start of the campaign. In fact, the points tally is enough to keep I Biancocelesti in the European spots.
Last time out, Simone Inzaghi’s team recorded a 2-0 win over Parma, after suffering their only league defeat of the season in their previous match at SPAL. A win in this clash would definitely signify a good start to the campaign for the Nerazzurri.
However, Lazio have found Inter to be difficult opponents in recent years, having beaten the men from Milan in just one of the last six meetings in all competitions. That one win came last time these two teams met in this fixture back in March. Inter under Conte look like a far different prospect, although the visitors have now kept clean sheets in their last three visits to Inter.
Lazio have been wildly inconsistent on their travels of late in Serie A, but a record of three wins in their last six away games in the league does not bode well for an away win in this clash.

Inter have started their campaign in good fashion. However, this game is a test of their metal, as Lazio can be a very dangerous team on their day. The problem with the visitors is their consistency.
For me, the home win at odds of 21/20 looks like decent value for a team in Inter’s form. I fancy it to be a slightly low-scoring game, though, so backing the under 2.5 goals at evens looks like a shrewd punt too.
