A 1-1 draw with RB Leipzig last time out means that Bayer are undefeated in three league games, having recorded two wins and a draw.

Bayer have a very strong recent away record in the Bundesliga, winning five of their last six matches on their travels. The exception was a 4-0 away defeat at Dortmund earlier this season. Impressively, the visitors have also scored at least three goals in four of their last five away games in the German top-flight.

In Germany international Kevin Volland, Bayer have a player who has scored in his last three Bundesliga appearances. He will be confident of continuing that recent stellar scoring run in Frankfurt.

Conclusion

These sides are in similar form, so neither side will head into this clash as major favourites. Bayer Leverkusen may edge it on form, but Frankfurt will, of course, have a home advantage. This encounter could be a high-scoring one, with both containing a big attacking threat.
