We have reached gameweek six of the Premier League campaign, which means another week of FPL. Our gameweek five picks produced mixed results, with the big winner Heung Mins-Son, who produced 12 points courtesy of a goal and an assist. Here are the players we are predicting will do well on gameweek six:

Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa, £4.8m)

When the Argentinian moved from Arsenal to Villa he was always going to be a good FPL choice, especially at a starting price of £4.5m. His performances for the Gunners towards the end of the season showed just what a reliable goalkeeper he can be.

His displays this season have only added to his reputation. Martinez has kept clean sheets in three of his four top-flight appearances this season, conceding just twice in the process. His performances have seen him become the top goalkeeper in FPL. It really wouldn’t be a surprise for the Villans number one to keep another clean sheet against Leeds United on Friday night.

Jack Grealish (Aston Villa, £7.2m)

The England international enjoyed something of a breakthrough campaign last season. He has continued that good form in the current campaign, helping the Villans to win their first four league games of the season.

Grealish has already scored three goals and produced three assists ahead of a clash with goal-friendly Leeds United on Friday night. The playmaker has the form and the ability to pick up a big haul. A victory would take Villa to the top of the Premier League table, temporarily at least.

Danny Ings (Southampton, £8.6m)

The former Liverpool forward has been included in our picks before this season. The thing is he just seems so dependable when it comes to picking up points. The England international has already scored four goals in his five Premier League appearances this season.

His price tag looks a steal ahead of this weekend’s fixture against table-topping Everton. The Toffees are not weak opponents, but they tend to concede goals. Carlo Ancelotti’s team has conceded at least two goals in five of their last six games in all competitions. They are also without experienced full-back Seamus Coleman for the clash. Ings also has a good scoring record against Everton, finding the net in six of his ten appearances against the Toffees.

Do you fancy placing a bet on Danny Ings continuing his stellar scoring record against Everton? Well, why not visit our betting page for the bookmakers we recommend for your wager.

Neal Maupay (Brighton, £6.6m)

The French forward is enjoying a stellar Premier League campaign, scoring four goals in the English top-flight this season. The former Brentford is fast becoming a very viable option in the mid-range forward options in FPL.

He has some really good bonuses for this week too. The first bonus is that the Seagulls host the league’s joint-worst defence in West Brom. Another factor is that Maupay could prove to be a very hand differential for your team. He is owned by just 6.7 per cent of people in this years game. As mid-range strikers go, he looks like a very decent option for gameweek six.

Will any of our picks for gameweek six make your FPL team?
