So, gameweek 18 was a slight let down when it came to FPL points, with many of the main protagonists disappointed. However, we have high hopes for our gameweek 19. Here are our latest picks:
Joao Cancelo (£5.8m)
The City full-back has established himself in the best defence in the Premier League of late. Despite talk of rotation, the Portuguese star has now started the Citizens last seven league matches. City have kept three clean sheets in their last four league outings. Home games against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa look to be decent fixtures.
Cancelo seems set to deliver going forward too but has yet to add to his one assist this season. The next two games could be when he fulfils his attacking promise.
Vladimir Coufal (West Ham, £4.7m)
The Czech Republic international is proving something of a bargain for the Hammers this season. While his points may not be flowing as easily as earlier in the season at his current price Coufal could be an FPL bargain too. This season Coufal has produced three assists and four clean sheets in 16 appearances, which is not a terrible return for a player in the ‘budget bracket’.
The big draw of Coufal in gameweek 19 is the fact that West Ham plays two home games against Burnley and West Brom. The pair are two of the lowest scorers in the English top-flight. No team has scored fewer goals than the Burnley in the Premier League this season. All this adds up to Coufal being a great asset for gameweek 19.
Tomas Soucek (West Ham, £5.3m)
Coufal’s Hammers teammate and compatriot Soucek has emerged as a star enabler this season. The Czech international is more than just a bench-filler, as the giant midfielder has scored five times and produced an assist this season. He is a fans favourite and also a favourite of Irons boss David Moyes, as he has not missed a minute of football this season since joining permanently in the summer after a loan spell at the club last season.
The aforementioned double gameweek makes Soucek even more attractive, as those games may give the big midfielder a chance to add to burgeoning reputation as a player who is a big attacking threat.

Phil Foden (Manchester City, £6.3m)
The youngster is enjoying a decent campaign and has scored some crucial goals for the Citizens of late, including scoring the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Brighton last time out. The goal means the midfielder has now scored in back-to-back matches.
He is on four league goals and three assists for the campaign too. That tally may not sound impressive, but he has been in and out of the City starting eleven this season. The double gameweek looks like an opportunity to add to his points tally this season.
Of course as always with City, we are at the mercy of the Pep rotation roulette. However, even if Foden starts one of the two double gameweek matches and comes off the bench in the other he still has the potential to pick up points.
Will any of our gameweek 19 picks be in your team?
