The Premier League clubs with big opportunities in Week 32
|

The Premier League rolls on this week for another selection of entertaining fixtures as the busy month of April continues. While we’re entering into the latter stages of the season, there are still so many huge fixtures left to be played at the top and bottom of the table.

Today, our aim is to pick out four clubs, in particular, who we believe have a huge opportunity ahead of them in the next few days. They aren’t nailed on to pick up all three points and they may not even be the favourites, but if they can find a way to win, it could be huge for their season.

If you feel like putting some money down on any of the games we’re about to discuss, head on over to the betting page.

West Ham

While Newcastle have been on a decent run as of late, it’s nothing compared to the unbelievable season West Ham United are experiencing under David Moyes. The Hammers are legitimate contenders in the race to finish in the top four and if anyone had said that at the start of the campaign, it would’ve been outright unbelievable. They could strengthen their grip on a Champions League spot with a win here, piling the pressure onto their rivals in the process.

Arsenal

Arsenal need to prepare for the possibility of the Europa League not being the saviour they want it to be. Sure, they’re going to throw everything they’ve got into winning it, but if they don’t, they need to have some kind of structure to work with in the Premier League. They’ll be hosting Fulham this weekend in a game that actually could be quite tight in certain areas of the pitch, but the Cottagers are on a bad run of form and Arsenal need to exploit that.

Leeds

Leeds United are really starting to feel themselves and while finishing in the top half would be a great result for them, they’re actually only four points off of seventh place – which could wind up opening the door for a spot in Europe. It seems strange to suggest they’re the ones with a big opportunity this weekend given that they’re playing host to reigning champions Liverpool, but we all saw how tight the reverse fixture was and we also all saw the stunning performance Leeds put on against Manchester City last weekend.

Manchester United

Manchester United probably aren’t going to be challenging Manchester City in the title race but it doesn’t hurt to dream. If they win this weekend against Burnley at Old Trafford they’ll push to within eight points of the leaders with six games remaining, and that Leeds defeat would’ve given United hope that City could slip up. Still, even if Pep’s side do run away with the title, it won’t hurt United’s confidence to finish the campaign with a strong set of wins. Between that and a decent summer transfer window, they could easily be talked about as title contenders by the time next season rolls around.
