Mikel Arteta’s team are now outsiders to make the top seven and play European football next season.

Arsenal are ninth, four adrift of arch-rivals Tottenham, who occupy the final European berth in the English top-flight. However, they also have eighth-place Everton to contend, who are three points ahead of the team from north London, while also having a game in hand.

The Gunners at least head into this derby clash on the back of two straight victories against Newcastle and West Brom. They have been relatively prolific of late in the English top-flight, scoring at least two goals in five of their last eight league outings.

Arsenal’s away form in the English top-flight has been decent in recent months, as the visitors are undefeated in five away matches in the Premier League, recording three wins and two draws. They have been potent on their travels in the top-flight, scoring at least two goals in four of their last five league matches on the road.

Conclusion

Chelsea have looked like a completely different animal in recent months. Arsenal’s recent away form in the league may have been decent, but we can’t look past the home win in this clash. The other bet we recommend is Timo Werner to be an anytime goalscorer. The Germany international has struggled for goals at times this season. However, he could argue that he has been slightly unlucky not to have scored more goals.
