So, gameweek two produced a mixed bag for many FPL players. Our gameweek two picks were no different, with two of our picks delivering and two failing to hit the mark. However, as always, we strive for more points. Here are our gameweek three picks:

Aaron Cresswell (West Ham, £5.5m)

The experienced full-back has started the season in good form going forward. He has already found the net and has looked a major attacking threat in what is fast becoming an exciting West Ham team under David Moyes.

His attacking threat this season is no surprise, as the former Tranmere star produced 11 assists last season, which was more than any other player classified as a defender. Cresswell also produced 58 key passes last season, which was a team-high for the campaign.

However, it is not just his attacking ability that looks potentially profitable this weekend, as the Hammers welcome goal-shy Crystal Palace to the London Stadium. The Eagles have yet to score this season in the Premier League. It could be the ideal game to own Cresswell or even fellow full-back Vladimir Coufal.

Demarai Gray (Everton, £5.5m)

The Toffees look to have grabbed themselves a bargain in winger Demarai Gray. The 25-year-old has made two very promising Premier League appearances. Last time out, the former Leicester star scored and also picked up two bonus points in a 2-2 draw at Leeds.

Rafa Benitez’s team face a potentially tricky trip to Brighton this weekend. The Seagulls have looked good so far. However, the visitors have offered a big attacking threat so far this season, much of which has come through their enigmatic winger.

Son Heung-Min (Tottenham, £10.1m)

We very rarely include premium options in our picks. However, we are making an exception for the South Korean, who at £10m could well prove to be good value all this season. A home game against Watford looks like a potentially profitable one for Son.

The 29-year-old scored seems to favour playing at home. Not only did he score ten points against Manchester City in gameweek one at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but his last eight double-figure scores have also all came on home soil. The fact that he could well continue as a central striker with Harry Kane struggling for fitness bodes well for his chance of a good points haul this weekend.

Michail Antonio (West Ham, £7.7m)

When injury-free, West Ham’s Michail Antonio is quite simply unstoppable. The 31-year-old has been a sensation so far this season, scoring three and assisting just as many in the Hammers two league outings so far this season. At the moment, Antonio is as close to a must-have asset as there is in FPL.

The aforementioned home game against Crystal Palace this weekend offers a fantastic opportunity for Antonio to add to his burgeoning attacking points tally. Looking at the other options he also looks like a good captaincy candidate for gameweek three. If you don’t already own him, get him in before it’s too late.
