The back-to-back wins in European football’s elite competition have been enough to take the visitors to the top of Group F.

The recent two straight wins came on the back of a run of three consecutive defeats in the Champions League for the Red Devils.

United have been travel sick in recent seasons in this competition, as the men from Manchester have lost four of their previous five away matches in the Champions League. To make matters worse, the Red Devils have conceded at least two goals in all four losses.

Conclusion

Atalanta’s form this season has not been that convincing, but they are still a dangerous team. Manchester United showed in the win over Spurs just how well they can play. Solskjaer may just have hit upon something with the back-three.
