On Sunday night, Inter will look to maintain or even strengthen their lead at the top of Serie A, as they welcome Lazio to the Giuseppe Meazza.

The Italian champions were on a superb run of form before the winter break. The Nerazzurri were set to return to action on Thursday, but for a break out of Covid-19 in opponents Bologna’s camp. Inter are now just a point clear of arch-rivals Milan at the top of Serie A, although they have a game in hand on the Rossoneri.

The big positive for Lazio was another prolific scoring display, as they have now scored at least three goals in five of their previous six matches in the Italian top-flight. However, they have also not kept a clean sheet in eight Serie A outings.

Lazio don’t have a great recent away record, as they have won just two of the last nine league matches on their travels. However, both of those away wins have come in their last three away games in Serie A.

The visitor’s recent away matches have certainly been entertaining fare, as their last seven away matches in the Italian top-flight have produced over 2.5 goals.

Inter will fancy their chances of recording another victory in this clash. The home offers little value, but the Inter half-time/full-time looks like a decent bet.
