They have already recently picked up silverware by winning the FIFA Club World Cup. Thomas Tuchel’s team will be keen to still be in with a chance of picking up another piece of silverware by progressing into the next round of this competition.
The FA Cup has become something of a favourite trophy for Chelsea, as the Blues have won the famous old competition on eight occasions. Only Arsenal and Manchester United have won the competition more than the team from south west London.
Chelsea have a decent recent record in the FA Cup, as they have won seven of their last eight games in the competition. The only blip in that run was a 1-0 defeat against Leicester in last season’s final.
Thomas Tuchel is likely to rotate his squad for this clash after their weekend exertions. The likes of Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku and Reece James could start after only coming off the bench in the final.

This game is what the FA Cup is all about, as a lower league team faces one of the top teams in the country. Luton are likely to give a good account of themselves, but we believe the visitor’s superior quality should shine through.
