In the Premier League’s early kick-off on Saturday, Wolves hosts reigning champions Manchester City as the visitors look to return to the top of the table.

Bruno Lage’s team has made an inconsistent start to the new campaign and currently sits in 14th place in the Premier League table. The team from the Midlands have won just one of their six top-flight games this season.

Back in the Premier League and City are unbeaten in 18 Premier League games since a 3-2 home defeat by Tottenham back in February. The Citizens have recorded 13 wins in the stellar run of league form.
City has been prolific in front of goal of late, scoring at least two goals in 14 of their previous 15 matches in the English top-flight.
Haaland has made a blistering goalscoring start for City, scoring 13 goals in his nine appearances in all competitions for the Citizens.
City are unbeaten in 21 away games in the Premier League. However, three of their last four league games on their travels have ended in draws. The visitors have also scored at least two goals in six of their previous seven away games in the Premier League.
City has fitness doubts about Aymeric Laporte and Kyle Walker. The former has returned to training, but this game may come too quick for the Spanish international.
Conclusion
Wolves have not made a great start to their season, while Manchester City seems to find new ways of winning games of late. We believe this will be a relatively tight game, as the home side are well organised.
