West Ham have drawn up a two-man shortlist of options to replace Declan Rice in the summer.
Rice, who will have just two years left on his deal, is nailed on to leave the London-based club at the end of the season, and looking at options to replace the England international, David Moyes has reportedly identified Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher and Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips as targets.
Both Gallagher and Phillips are finding it tough to succeed at their current clubs, with the former recently linked to Aston Villa too.
However, with Rice almost certain to leave London once the season comes to an end, and all the top sides likely to be in the race for his signature, all the pressure will be on the Hammers to convince either Chelsea’s Gallagher or Manchester City’s Phillips to attempt to fill the void left by their talented number 41.
