Premier League duo Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are reportedly in the running to sign Leicester City midfielder James Maddison.
The English midfielder is expected to leave the King Power Stadium at the end of the season following five relatively successful years with the Foxes.
With the 2015-16 champions fighting against relegation this campaign, Maddison, who has just 12 months left on his deal, is expected to move clubs regardless of which division the Foxes find themselves in next season.
And according to recent reports, the two clubs most interested in signing him are Tottenham Hotspur and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.
“Tottenham are monitoring James Maddison, for sure,” Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano said.
“Also Newcastle have his name on their list since last August as he’s always been appreciated.”
