German giants Bayern Munich could be set to scupper Man United’s transfer plans this summer, according to The Mirror. Reports claim that the Bavarian giants could make their move to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, as the club see him as a capable player to fill the void left by Robert Lewandowski.
Bayern also remains interested in making a move for Victor Osimhen, who has also attracted interest from Man United.
Harry Kane prefers Man United Switch
The same report also indicates that while a move to Germany could interest Kane, his main priority is to stay in the Premier League. However, United has encountered problems in previous dealings with Spurs, and the Red Devils want to avoid a long drawn out bidding war with Daniel Levy.
The England captain’s signature could be huge for any club that manages to acquire it, as he is rightly regarded as one of the best strikers in world football. Kane has netted 23 goals in 30 games this season, breaking the 20-goal barrier for the sixth season in nine.
