Manchester City are open to listening to offers for Spain International Aymeric Laporte.
Laporte, 28, had been an important part of Pep Guardiola’s backline last season, making 44 appearances in all competitions.
However, after first delaying much-needed knee surgery during City’s title run-in until the end of the season, and then losing his place to summer signing Manuel Akanji, Laporte has found his opportunities few and far between this season and has so far only made 7 starts in the Premier League so far.
And now, according to Daily Mail reporter Jack Gaughan, Laporte is now keen to leave the Etihad Stadium to pursue first-team choices elsewhere and City will not stand in his way if they receive an acceptable offer for the defender, whose contract runs until June 2025.

Laporte will also be keen to keep his place in the Spain national side, for which he is still a regular starter, as new manager Luis de la Fuente looks to make his own mark on the side after replacing predecessor Luis Enrique, who left after an unsuccessful World Cup campaign in which Spain were knocked out by Morocco on penalties in the last 16.
