Karim Benzema has signed a new one-year contract which will take his stay at Real Madrid to 11 years.
Club captain Benzema, now 35, has scored 349 in 640 matches in all competitions for Real Madrid and has been club captain since the departure of Brazilian left-back Marcelo last summer.
During his time in Madrid, Benzema has so far won a multitude of major honors including four La Liga’s, five Champions Leagues, and five FIFA World Club Cups.

However, the Frenchman is showing no signs that he is finished, and as reported by the Spanish newspaper AS this morning, Benzema has extended his time at the Bernabeu for at least another 12 months.
Benzema is currently second in the list of Real Madrid’s all-time top goal scorers but is still an incredible 101 goals behind the outright top goal scorer and former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
