Harry Kane has emerged as a shock summer transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain.
It has been no secret that Harry Kane has wanted to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the past to pursue his dream of winning major honors and was very close to agreeing on a deal to move to Manchester City back in the summer of 2021.
Now the England captain, who turns 30 in the summer, is apparently a target for the Parisians according to Le Parisien who want Kane to pair with Kylian Mbappe in what would be a star-studded frontline. With links that both Neymar and Lionel Messi could leave the Ligue 1 champions in the summer too, Kane is seen as the perfect replacement at the right stage of his career to propel Paris Saint-Germain to European glory next season.
The Parisians were knocked out meekly in the round of 16 by Bayern Munich in this season’s Champions League 3-0, leading to increasing speculation over the future of current Head Coach Christophe Galtier, who is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
Despite scoring over 200 goals for Tottenham Hotspur, Kane is yet to win a single trophy at his boyhood club and the move would take him closer to his dream of winning major trophies with the Parisians winning eight of the previous ten Ligue 1 titles and currently eight points clear at the top of the table this campaign with just seven games left to play.
