New England Revolution has signed the experienced left-back Ben Sweat on a free transfer.
It was announced earlier this month that Sporting Kansas City would not extend Sweat’s contract for another year, allowing the 31-year-old to become a free agent. However, the former New York City FC and Inter Miami man has now signed a deal with Bruce Arena’s side for the rest of the season, with the option of extending it until 2024, as confirmed by 90 min football.
