According to reports in the Independent, United are big admirers of the Irishman Ferguson, who has been a breakthrough star for the Seagulls under Roberto De Zerbi this campaign.

The 18-year-old has been highly impressive in his debut campaign at Brighton this season, seamlessly coming into a team playing without fear and he has so far notched up eight goals already.
At six ft tall, Ferguson has already proven he is more than just someone to play the ball long too, as exemplified by his deft backheeled finish away at Bournemouth.
However, it will not prove easy for Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag to tempt Ferguson away from the Amex Stadium as it has also been reported that in order to continue his fast-moving development, Ferguson would be keen on remaining at Brighton for the foreseeable future.
