Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo has admitted he wants to play for Real Madrid
In an interview he gave to the Daily Telegraph, Caicedo has stated that joining Los Blancos was a lifelong dream. The Ecuadorian who has starred in an impressive season for the Seagulls, currently lying seventh in the Premier League table, was signed from Independiente in 2021 by former manager Graham Potter and had to initially be patient to be given an opportunity in the team.
Following the departure of Yves Bissouma however, Caicedo has shone at the Amex Stadium and added his disappointment about not being allowed to leave for Arsenal last summer. “I was really close to joining Arsenal so I suffered a lot. I liked them because they have young, talented players and stars but they always have that mindset of wanting more. I’m sure I’m going to have many more opportunities” Caicedo said.
