Chelsea are preparing to cut their squad down in time for next season.
The London-base club, owned by US billionaire Todd Boehly, have spent a massive $770m in the last two transfer windows, and consequently, the size of their squad is far too big.
Looking to trim their playing staff down, as well as settle on a strong core of youthful players with high potential, Boehly is understood to have put as many as seven first-team stars up for sale ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
According to a recent report from the Evening Standard, striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, midfielders Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Conor Gallagher, Hakim Ziyech, goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, defender Kalidou Koulibaly and USMNT international and Christian Pulisic are all available for transfer.
