Barcelona are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante and former Barca forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.
Whilst Lionel Messi and Ilkay Gundogan remain at the top of Xavi’s summer transfer wishlist, it has been reported in the Daily Mirror by Tom Hopkinson that Barcelona will also pursue for deals for Kante and Aubameyang, whose deals at Stamford Bridge both run out at the end of the season.
What’s the latest Barcelona transfer news?
Barcelona plans to offer World Cup winner Kante a two-year deal if his option of an extra one-year deal at Chelsea is not triggered.
As for Aubameyang, he is regarded as their top number nine target to return to the club this summer on a striking list that also includes out-of-contract stars such as Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino and Frenchman Marcus Turam, as well as 18-year-old wonderkid Vitor Roque, who would be a far more expensive option for cash-strapped Barca, according to Sky Sports news editor Lyall Thomas.
