German club Eintracht Frankfurt have been heavily linked with the Frenchman, who has represented his country at under-17,18, and 19 levels, and they have not been put off by the Parisian’s asking price.
In a disappointing season in Europe for Paris Saint-Germain, Bitshiabu’s accomplished performance in the Champions League away defeat at Bayern Munich was seen as a rare highlight, showing maturity beyond his years.
The news may not be met well with already angered PSG fans, who have believed for some time that the club is straying too far away from their academy and instead putting their faith in highly-paid star names who are not delivering on the pitch.
