Danish left-back Malte Amundsen has left New York City FC for Columbus Crew.
According to the Athletic journalist Tom Bogert, Amundsen has moved to Ohio in Columbus Crew in order to provide cover for wing-back Will Sands who recently picked up an injury and will cost the Crew a fee of approximately $400,000.
Columbus Crew will look to continue on a decent start to the season which currently sees them in sixth position in the Eastern Conference, just one point behind Amundsen’s now ex-club NYCFC.
