LA Galaxy has re-signed USMNT under-20 international Mauricio Cuevas from Club Brugge.
According to The Athletic reporter Tom Bogert, 20-year-old Cuevas has re-joined the club he left when he was released back in 2021.
Standing at just five foot seven inches, the diminutive right-back has failed to break into the first team for Brugge who currently sit a disappointing fourth in the league table, an incredible 16 points behind rivals Genk, after firing ex-England international midfielder Scott Parker as their head coach last month.
Sources: The LA Galaxy have acquired US youth international defender Mauricio Cuevas from Club Brugge.
Cuevas, 20, is a product of LAG's academy and made 21 USL Championship apps, but left for Belgium in 2022. Part of US U20s Concacaf winning squad.https://t.co/UrOI19y2Jg pic.twitter.com/KfNb0kzr2N
