Young Barcelona midfielder Aleix Garrido has committed his immediate future to the club by signing a contract with the Catalans until 2025.
The central midfielder, 19, made his debut for the Barcelona first-team in La Liga earlier this month, coming on as an 84th-minute substitute in the 4-0 rout at Elche. Garrido is another diminutive and technically excellent midfielder for whom La Mesia, where the youngster graduated, has become famous over the years with fellow playmakers Pedri and Gavi also making their names at the academy.
