Jadon Sancho is reportedly desperate to leave Manchester United and return to Borussia Dortmund on loan.
That’s according to reports in the German media, including one from Suddeutsche Zeitung, which claims the England international is growing increasingly frustrated with how things are going at Old Trafford, and in an effort to get his stalling career back on track, is requesting to return to his old stomping ground on a temporary basis.
Jadon Sancho to secure transfer back to Borussia Dortmund?
Sancho, 23, was signed by Man United in 2021 in a blockbuster deal worth $92m. Still, despite becoming one of the Premier League’s most expensive attackers, the 23-year-old has fallen way short of replicating the same form that earned him such a high-profile transfer.
Consequently, with fellow right-wingers Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho in top form, with the latter recently penning a new long-term deal, Sancho has fallen even further down in Erik Ten Hag’s pecking order and that could pave the way for a surprise return to Germany.
