Three German clubs are interested in the services of young American midfielder Aziel Jackson.
Jackson, 21, has impressed for St Louis City’s second team this year and scored twice in Tuesday’s 5-1 win over Union Omaha. The American attacking midfielder joined St Louis City for $150,000 in November last year ahead of the club’s inaugural MLS season, moving to St Louis City SC 2 on loan in March.

And according to German journalist Manuel Vath, Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen and Bundesliga Two pair Paderborn 07 and Hannover 96 are interested in adding the attacking midfielder, who has also scored two goals in three matches for St Louis City’s first team, to their squad this summer.

Leverkusen, currently managed by former Liverpool and Real Madrid man Xabi Alonso, have had a fine season as they prepare for their Europa League semi-final next month against Jose Mourninho’s Roma.
