Liverpool target Jurrien Timber has confirmed he will be leaving Ajax this summer
As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, Jurrien Timber told the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, “My transfer is getting closer. There is a lot of specific interest for the summer”.

Latest Liverpool transfer news: Jurrien Timber to leave Ajax this summer
Center-back Timber, who missed a penalty in his side’s shootout defeat in the Dutch KNVB cup final to PSV Eindhoven yesterday, has told De Telegraaf that he was initially meant to leave the club in the summer but stayed in Amsterdam for one more year in loyalty to the club.
And as reported last week, Timber’s wife was spotted househunting in Liverpool according to Dutch TV show Veronica Offside with the Reds in for a new central defender after conceding another three goals to Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.
