Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly searching for an exit route from Al Nassr, just four months after signing a $ 180-million-a-year deal with the club, according to El Nacional.
The Portuguese superstar only signed with the Saudi Arabian club in January after his ill-fated fallout with Erik ten Hag drew a close to his career with Manchester United.
Real Madrid open to Cristiano Ronaldo return
One former club that could be willing to offer Ronaldo an exit route from Saudi Arabia is Real Madrid. The Spanish giants are reportedly willing to offer their all-time leading scorer a non-playing role as an ambassador according to the latest reports.
The outlet has claimed that Florentino Perez has already set aside a role for the Portuguese superstar should he wish to return to Madrid. However, it remains to be seen whether Ronaldo still believes he can play at the highest level.
The former United star has scored 12 goals in as many games for Al Nassr this season, but he is often cutting a frustrated figure as his side trail Al-Ittihad by three points in the race for the Saudi Pro League title.
