Pablo Mari leaves Arsenal for Monza
Mari’s career has taken an upturn after a dismal time in North London in which the defender only made 14 appearances in three seasons for Arsenal after signing from Brazilian club Flamengo.
Mari will cost Monza a fee of around $7.5m and could be joined at the Stadio Brianteo with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with negotiations between the 41-year-old striker and owner Silvio Berlusconi believed to be going well.
