Chelsea are reportedly willing to cut their losses with one of their star signings from last summer, according to The Telegraph.
The Blues only signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in a $15 million deal from Barcelona last summer, but the move hasn’t worked out as both parties would have wished.

Chelsea will likely look to cut the Gabon international’s contract short and release him on a free. The Blues paid $15 million for the striker’s services last season, but he has failed to play a key part in any of the three managers Chelsea have appointed this term.
Aubameyang was handed a rare start in the Premier League on Tuesday, but he was substituted after just 45 minutes against former club Arsenal after making less than ten touches.
The 33-year-old has scored just three goals in 21 games across all competitions this season, and was left out of Chelsea’s Champions League squad for the second half of the season. A return to Barcelona has been muted as a possible destination for the former Arsenal striker.
