Rashford, 25, has had the most productive season of his career so far, scoring 29 goals in all competitions, including one in the League Cup final win against Newcastle United at Wembley in February.
And the upturn in form has forced the board at Old Trafford to act quickly in order to tie the England forward down to a long-term contract with Rashford only having 14 months left on his existing deal. Manager Erik Ten Hag plans to pair United’s number 10 with a new striker as teammates Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst look set to leave the club in the summer.
