Real Madrid left-back Ferland Mendy may have played his last game for the club as a summer move for the Frenchman looms.
The 27-year-old has struggled for fitness this campaign with various muscle injuries keeping him out of action since January. During this time, fellow compatriot Eduardo Camavinga has filled in at left-back extremely well and Mendy is now thought to be surplus to requirements at Real, who he joined from Ligue 1 giants Lyon back in 2019.

According to esteemed Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, the Frenchman could leave in the summer in order to help fund a move for English superstar Jude Bellingham, who was announced yesterday to be heading to the Bernabeu after choosing Los Blancos over a move to the Premier League with Liverpool and Man City interested.

However, it is likely that Mendy will have to prove his fitness before any move can be facilitated for the Frenchman who is still under contract at the Bernabeu until 2025.
