Wolves could be willing to use club talisman Ruben Neves in a deal for Ansu Fati this summer, according to reports at Relevo.
The club from the Black Country is keen to push through a move for the Spanish international, but parting ways with Neves could leave Wolves light in the middle of the field.
Wolves open to part-exchange transfer for Ansu Fati
Wolves have reluctantly accepted that Neves will likely depart the club this summer. Barcelona have been long-term admirers of the Portuguese ace, and the midfielder’s agent has been in Catalonia this week to push through a deal to the Nou Camp.
Jorge Mendes is looking to reportedly orchestrate a move that would see Neves move to Barcelona, with the Spanish club agreeing to let Fati move in the opposite direction.
Neves has been a standout star for Wolves since joining the English club from Porto in 2017. This term, he has played a key role in helping the club escape relegation, scoring six goals in 31 games.
