The full-back’s agent reportedly held talks with the Spanish giants over the weekend over a potential season-long loan deal with an option to buy.

Man City are reportedly willing to allow Cancelo to leave the Etihad this summer. However, Bayern Munich doesn’t appear keen on making their loan move for the full-back into a permanent deal.

Since signing for the German giants in January, the Portuguese has played 12 times in the league. He has scored once in the Bundesliga, and has registered three assists. However, reports have claimed that there are no plans at the Allianz Arena to match the fee set by Man City.

Jorge Mendes appears keen to strike a deal with Barcelona for the full-back, but City are wary of doing business with the Spanish club due to their financial position.
