AC Milan winger Rafael Leao has signed a new five-year deal to stay at the San Siro until the summer of 2028.
The 23-year-old Portuguese international has had a standout season with the Rossoneri, scoring 13 goals and providing 13 assists in all competitions this term. And according to the Athletic’s journalist James Horncastle, the winger’s preference was always to stay at AC Milan despite speculation linking him with a move to Premier League champions Man City last month.

Leao’s stunning season has included highlights such as a sensational solo run and assist for Olivier Giroud in Milan’s Champions League victory against Napoli and a brace back in September against city rivals Inter Milan, who the Portuguese forward prepares to take on in a Champions League semi-final first leg at the San Siro tonight.
Leao’s pace and powerful running have attracted the attention of some of the biggest clubs in the world but Leao has now committed his future to the Rossoneri with the winger purported to be earning $7.7m a year with an additional $2.2m signing on fee.
