World Cup winner Thomas Muller has been linked with a move to the MLS this summer.
The 33-year-old has had a phenomenal career for Bayern Munich, first making his Bayern debut against Hamburg back in August 2008, and has gone on to score 234 goals in 663 appearances in all competitions for the Bavarians, winning two Champions Leagues and an astonishing 11 Bundesliga titles.
However, according to reports in Germany today, Muller is unhappy at a lack of game time at the Allianz Arena this season, starting only 58% of Bayern’s Bundesliga matches this term after falling down the pecking order under new manager Thomas Tuchel.
Thomas Muller rumored with MLS switch
BILD journalist Christian Falk claims that Muller already has offers from two unnamed MLS clubs on the table as well as interest coming from Saudi Arabia, but the veteran forward believes he still has it within himself to compete at a top European club, even if his future no longer lies in Munich.
