West Ham United have identified Viktor Gyokeres as a potential summer transfer target, according to reports in The Mirror.
The Hammers will be looking to rebuild their squad this summer after a disappointing 2022-23 campaign battling against relegation.
West Ham keen on summer transfer for Gyokeres
Viktor Gyokeres has been one of the standout stars in the Championship this season. But, his future will likely depend on the results in the playoffs, as Coventry City could yet achieve a memorable return to the Premier League.
Gyokeres was close to a move in the winter transfer window, but Mark Robins was keen to keep hold of the Swede as the club battled for promotion.
The 24-year-old has scored 21 goals and registered ten assists in 46 Championship matches this season, eclipsing his career-best tally of 17 goals last term. Gyokeres has also scored once and registered a single assist in two appearances for Sweden this calendar year.
