Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has accepted a new long-term contract to stay at the Emirates Stadium after a fine second season with the club.
The Gunners have already confirmed a Champions League spot for next season and Ramsdale’s terrific performances have made him many people’s pick for the best goalkeeper in the Premier League this year, keeping 13 league clean sheets as Arsenal remain in the race for the title with only three matches remaining.

News regarding Ramsdale’s new contract was provided by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who also stated that Arsenal’s number one would receive an increase in wages on his current deal.

The 24-year-old has proved to be a shrewd signing by Mikel Arteta after many questioned whether Ramsdale would be able to make the step-up at Arsenal following back-to-back Premier League relegations with Bournemouth and Sheffield United.
