Man United could turn their attention to Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford this summer, according to the latest reports in The Mirror.
The Red Devils have teased a move for the England number one, and a formal approach could be made if David De Gea refuses to sign a new deal at Old Trafford.
Man United in the transfer market for a goalkeeper
The goalkeeper position has become a problem area for United over recent weeks, with De Gea’s form seeing the Red Devils drop out of the Europa League. The Spanish international was also recently at fault for West Ham’s winner at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
Erik ten Hag is looking to bolster the position in the summer, and there have also been reports that the coach is in talks with Dean Henderson over a potential return to the first-team.
However, a move for Pickford has been explored by United. The Everton goalkeeper has been a standout performer for club and country over the last 12 months, and his ability to play out from the back would be considered a huge plus for ten Hag.
