AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham has been urged to re-join Chelsea by current Blues star Reece James, according to Tuttomercartoweb.
The striker admitted that James has been talking to him about a return to Stamford Bridge, as the Blues look for a potential striker in the summer transfer window.
Abraham to listen to Chelsea transfer interest
Abraham was speaking to the media ahead of Roma’s Europa League showdown with Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday. It has been another productive season for the 25-year-old in Italy, as he has scored eight goals and three assists in 35 Serie A outings.
However, his scoring record is down from the 17 efforts that he managed in 2021-22. A return to England appears on the cards for Abraham this summer, and former club Chelsea are among the potential suitors.
Another former club in the form of Aston Villa are also monitoring the situation, as Unai Emery looks to add a natural number nine to his squad. Man United have also been muted as a possible destination for the England striker.
