Tottenham Hotspur could be set to make a move for one of the standout goalkeepers in the Premier League this season, according Fabrizio Romano.
Spurs are interested in making a summer move for Brentford’s David Raya, as they weigh up options with Hugo Lloris set to call time on his spell in North London.
Raya among Tottenham transfer options
With Lloris expected to leave the club at the conclusion of his current deal, Spurs will almost certainly be in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer. The club have already been linked with a move for Brighton’s Robert Sanchez, while they are also long-term admirers of Man United’s Dean Henderson.
However, according to reports, a move for Raya could be their top choice. The Brentford stopper has enjoyed another excellent campaign in the Premier League, as the Bees look on course for their best-ever finish in the division.
Raya has featured in all 36 of Brentford’s fixtures this season, and his excellent performances saw him called up to the Spanish squad for the 2022 World Cup. But, the Bees will likely ask for a considerable sum if they are to part ways with the 27-year-old.
