Bayern Munich have emerged as a shock transfer alternative for West Ham United’s Declan Rice this summer, according to The Mirror.
Thomas Tuchel is reportedly a huge admirer of the Hammers star, and previously attempted to sign the England international during his time with Chelsea.
Bayern Munich joins Arsenal in Rice transfer battle
West Ham boss David Moyes has recently admitted that it will be incredibly difficult for the club to keep hold of their club captain this summer. It was widely believed that Arsenal were the front-runners to sign the 24-year-old.
Reports elsewhere have claimed that the Gunners have submitted a $100 million offer to the Hammers. But, fresh interest from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich could increase the asking price, with West Ham likely to be more encouraged to do business with the Bavarian giants.
Rice has once again been in impressive form for the Hammers this term, but he looks set to move on this summer to fulfill his dream of playing in the Champions League.
