Man United could reportedly step up their interest in Nigerian striker Gift Orban this summer, according to the Evening Standard.
The Red Devils are among a number of clubs monitoring the Gent striker, with Chelsea and Tottenham also in the race to sign the talented African, according to the latest reports.
Man United rival Premier League clubs in Orban transfer race
Man United are the latest club to enter the race for the 20-year-old striker. Tottenham and Chelsea have also been monitoring his progress since joining Belgian side Gent in January. Meanwhile, Fulham have also been long-term admirers of the Nigerian.
However, it is believed that Gent will ask for a significant figure to part ways with the striker after the 20-year-old signed a five-year deal with the Pro League club just five months ago.
Orban’s performances have been excellent since moving from Norwegian side Stabaek, as he has scored 19 goals in 19 games across all competitions with Gent. He has also scored 14 goals in 13 games in the Pro League.
