Jose Mourinho has set his sights on Leicester City ace Youri Tielemans this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Foxes midfielder is free to talk to new clubs this summer, with his current deal at the King Power Stadium coming to an end next month. A new deal also looks unlikely, with Leicester on the verge of suffering relegation.
Roma keen on Tielemans transfer
Mourinho has reportedly made Tielemans one of his top summer transfer targets this year, and a deal could be easily agreed if the Italian giants are able to land Europa League glory and secure their spot in next season’s Champions League.
It looks set to be a busy summer of incomings at the Stadio Olimpico, with Evan N’Dicka and Houssem Aouar also reportedly close to agreeing deals with Roma. However, Tielemans is a player that Mourinho has followed throughout his career, with the Portuguese attempting to sign the star during his time at Man United.
The Belgium international has played 29 times this season in the Premier League, scoring three goals and assisting once.
