Man United have reportedly opened talks to extend the contract of Uruguayan winger Facundo Pellistri, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 21-year-old’s current deal runs until the end of the 2024-25 season, but the Red Devils are keen to extend his deal until at least 2028.

United will be looking to fight off interest in the Uruguayan by extending his deal, and talks are reportedly going well. Pellistri has featured in United’s matchday squad frequently this term, and has featured on three occasions in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old has also played five times across matches in the Europa League and EFL Cup, registering one assist. Pellistri reportedly has a part to play under ten Hag, and could feature more regularly next season following the reported exits of Anthony Martial and Anthony Elanga.
United will also be looking to give Amad Diallo a chance to shine next season. The 20-year-old impressed during a loan stint with Championship side Sunderland, scoring 14 goals and registering three assists in 39 matches.
