Manchester City will listen to offers for USMNT goalkeeper Zack Steffan when the goalkeeper’s loan spell at Middlesbrough ends.
Steffan, 28, has lost his place as City’s number 2 goalkeeper behind Ederson and the emergence of summer signing Stefan Ortega, who starred in a 1-0 win against Chelsea for the Premier League champions on Sunday.

According to The Sun’s Alan Nixon, City aim to sell the American goalkeeper after impressing on loan for Championship side Middlesbrough this season.
Michael Carrick’s men are reportedly keen to keep the goalkeeper but fear they may miss out with interest coming from the Bundesliga following Steffan’s season-long loan in 2020-2021 at Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Steffan joined Manchester City in 2019 from MLS side Columbus Crew and has only made 21 appearances in 4 years for the Blues. In contrast, the American has made 45 appearances for Boro in the Championship this season as his side were knocked out in the Play-Off semi-finals by Coventry City.
