Anthony Martial’s Man United days could be numbered.
That’s according to French news outlet RMC Sport, who have reported that Erik Ten Hag is keen for the Red Devils to sell the Frenchman ‘as soon as possible’.
The forward has been linked with a move to Aston Villa this week, but the Red Devils could be more open to a permanent move for Martial instead of a loan switch.
Anthony Martial to leave Man United?
Martial arrived at Old Trafford with a big reputation in 2015 but has constantly struggled with injury issues. That has led to him missing a huge portion of the 2022-23 season.
The final straw appeared to come in United’s most recent Premier League fixture, as the Frenchman sulked after being substituted in the 57th minute. Martial initially walked down the tunnel, before returning to sit on the bench with his teammates.
However, his constant injury issues appear to have tested the patience of ten Hag, with the Dutchman now looking at new options in the forward areas ahead of the 2023-24 season.
